Assoc Prof Peter Benny is a fertility specialist. Pete is a sub specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He studied medicine at the University of Otago and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Christchurch NZ and Leicester UK. Pete has a wide experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has been involved in infertility management and IVF for more than 20 years. Until recently he was Medical Director of Repromed Christchurch, an O&G specialist at Christchurch Women’s Hospital with an academic appointment at the University of Otago Christchurch. In the past he has had leading roles in The Fertility Society of Australia and the Reproductive Technologies Accreditation Committee.
He is currently the chairman of the examination committee of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for the Royal Australian College of O&G and is Next Generation Fertility’s Medical Director. Pete’s special interests in fertility and reproductive medicine are broad, with extensive experience in; surgical conditions associated with infertility management, hormonal aspects of ovarian responsiveness and reserve, and factors including nutrition and environment that impact on male and female fertility. But most of all he just enjoys trying to help couples reach their reproductive goals.
Peter sees his patients at Parramatta, Campbelltown and Penrith.
